Beeswax Candle Care & Instructions

Trim the cotton wick to ¼ inch before lighting. Burn in a draft-free environment to ensure a clean, virtually drip-free burn. Secure upright on a sturdy pillar holder before lighting. Keep away from children, and pets. Keep candle away from drafts to prevent an uneven burn. We recommend snuffing for putting out your candle. 

Important: Pillars require what is called an initial burn to establish the boundaries and prevent tunneling. Light your candle and wait until the melt pool reaches the furthest edges before snuffing. This can take 3-4 hours. Push the soft top edges inward slightly after snuffing the flame to maximize your burn time. Always burn on a heat-safe plate.
